What is Penis Enlargement?

Nonsurgical penis enlargement is a method of increasing the girth of the penis by using injectable fillers. It is important to be in good general health and a nonsmoker to safely undergo this nonsurgical procedure.

How Does Penis Enlargement Work?

Injectable fillers are used for a variety of nonsurgical cosmetic procedures. Over the years dermal fillers have gained popularity in volumizing and rejuvenating the penis. J. Sweat Plastic Surgery uses a collection of fillers from Juvéderm family. Juvéderm class use dermal fillers made up of hyaluronic acid (HA). Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in our skin. What’s great about HA fillers is they appear natural when injected, and can also be dissolved by a unique enzyme solution, if results are undesirable, or complications occur.

Prior to the start of treatment, the treatment area will be cleansed thoroughly. A topical numbing cream will be applied for 30 minutes. The area will again be cleansed and prepped with a sterile solution. All injectable filler is prefilled and premixed with lidocaine to maximize comfort. The procedure involves a series of small injections along the shaft of the penis. The change is noticed almost immediately. However, initially, there is some swelling, which can make the area appear larger. It could take up to two weeks for the product to settle to see ultimate results.

Realistic Expectations

Penis enhancement can be customized to suit each patient’s specific needs and concerns. However, it’s essential to understand the procedure and have realistic expectations for what can be achieved with dermal fillers.

Everyone can agree that penis is a fluctuating organ when it comes to size, and size will change depending on different factors (cold atmosphere, feeling nervous). That’s why it becomes challenging to perform measurements prior to and after treatments. Before and after photos will be taken the same day, and a two-week follow-up, for documentation.

The amount of product that is placed in the penis will vary anywhere from 6-10cc per session. Take a look at the size of a teaspoon, it measures about 5 cc; this equals to 5 syringes of filler. The filler is placed in soft tissue along the shaft of the penis to enhance circumference.

Everyone’s expectations and results will vary. Some patients may be pleased with 6 syringes, while others may want 26 syringes.

What is the Recovery from Penis Enlargement Like?

After the penis enhancement procedure, there will be a period of recovery. It is important that men do not undergo strenuous activities for at least 24 hours after their procedure as well as abstain from sexual intercourse for two weeks. The most dramatic results will be visible immediately after the treatment, and ultimately results will be final at two weeks after the procedure.
