Some volume concerns are too small for surgery and too structural for a filler. A slight difference between the breasts after augmentation. A visible ripple along the upper pole of an implant. A hollow above the hip that no amount of training fills.

alloClae® gives J. Sweat Plastic Surgery a different option. It is a non-surgical body contouring treatment made from donated human fat tissue, placed under the skin in the office to restore soft, natural volume where the body is missing it. No implants, no synthetic fillers, no operating room. Most patients are treated in under an hour and back to normal activity in a day or two.

J. Sweat Plastic Surgery is led by a board-certified plastic surgeon who performs the full range of breast and body procedures, so alloClae is offered here as one option among many.

What Is alloClae?

alloClae is an allograft adipose matrix, a soft tissue product derived from donated human fat. It adds subtle, natural-looking volume anywhere fat naturally exists, without surgery or a synthetic implant.

Unlike a fat transfer, it requires no liposuction to harvest donor fat first. It arrives ready to use, which is what makes same-day, in-office treatment possible.

How alloClae Works

Fat has an internal architecture, a three-dimensional honeycomb of fat cells held together by an extracellular matrix of collagen and connective tissue. That structure is what gives fat its softness and its ability to hold shape.

alloClae is processed to preserve that architecture rather than break it down. When J. Sweat Plastic Surgery places it beneath the skin through a small cannula, it behaves much like the fat already there, filling the space and supporting the overlying tissue. Because the volume is physically placed during the appointment, the change is visible right away.

What alloClae Is Made Of

alloClae is made from donated human fat tissue: non-living fat cells, extracellular matrix, triglycerides, and connective tissue.

One point matters most: alloClae does not contain viable, living cells. It works as a structural soft tissue scaffold, not a cellular or hormonal therapy, and has no systemic effect on the body. It is regulated by the FDA as a Human Cell and Tissue Product, or HCT/P, and each unit is intended for a single patient.

Breast Contouring with alloClae

Breast surgery results are rarely undone by large problems, and revision surgery can feel like a heavy answer to a small one. When the underlying result is good and what is missing is soft tissue coverage, alloClae can address it without returning to the operating room. J. Sweat Plastic Surgery also performs breast revision and uses GalaFLEX and Stratice support when those fit better.

Improving Symmetry and Correcting Rippling

Rippling happens when there is not enough natural tissue covering an implant, most often along the upper or inner breast in thinner patients. The implant is fine. What is missing is padding over it.

alloClae adds a layer of natural fat where that coverage is thin, softening the visible edge or ripple. The same approach applies to minor asymmetry, where a small amount of volume on the smaller side brings the two into balance.

This works best for subtle, localized differences. Significant asymmetry, implant malposition, and capsular contracture remain surgical problems.

Refining Cleavage and Contour

The slope from the chest into the upper breast is one of the most noticeable parts of a result, and a slight hollow or abrupt edge there can make an otherwise excellent outcome look less natural in clothing. Placing alloClae along these transition zones smooths the contour into a more gradual line.

Patients who lost upper pole fullness after pregnancy, weight loss, or breastfeeding and do not want an implant may also be candidates for modest volume restoration here.

Body Contouring with alloClae

Non-surgical body contouring has historically meant removing volume. CoolSculpting reduces fat, Kybella dissolves it, and until recently there was no comparable option for adding volume back.

That gap mattered most for lean patients. A Brazilian butt lift or natural fat transfer requires enough donor fat to harvest, and a thin patient often does not have it. alloClae does not depend on your own fat stores, which opens it to patients previously told they were not candidates.

Enhancing Gluteal Shape

Hip dips, the indentation between the hip and outer thigh, come down to skeletal structure and where fat sits over it. They are not a weight problem, which is why they persist in very fit patients and why exercise rarely changes them.

alloClae can be placed into that depression to soften the indentation and smooth the line from the waist through the hip and thigh. It can also refine the upper outer gluteal area, where a small amount of projection improves shape.

This is a refinement treatment, not a size change. Patients wanting a significant increase in gluteal volume are better served by a Brazilian butt lift, and J. Sweat Plastic Surgery will say so directly.

Smoothing Liposuction Irregularities

Contour irregularity after liposuction is a known possibility, particularly when treatment was aggressive or superficial. It usually shows up as a dent, groove, or wavy area where too much fat was removed in one spot.

The correction is to replace what is missing. alloClae is placed into the depressed area to level it against the surrounding tissue, the same principle behind fat grafting for contour correction. Patients who had liposuction elsewhere and are unhappy are welcome to come in for evaluation.

Why Patients Choose alloClae Over Surgery

Two reasons come up most: scale, because the concern is real but does not feel like a surgery-sized problem, and candidacy, because patients too lean for fat transfer now have an option.

No Implants or Synthetic Fillers

alloClae is human adipose tissue. There is no silicone shell, no saline, no engineered gel polymer. For patients who have specifically avoided implants, that matters, and the material feels like the body’s own soft tissue rather than a distinct object under the skin.

alloClae is not a facial filler and is not used for lips or fine lines. For facial volume, J. Sweat Plastic Surgery offers Juvéderm Voluma and a full range of injectables.

Immediate Results with Minimal Downtime

You will see a change the day of your appointment. Because alloClae physically occupies the space it fills, the volume is there immediately rather than building over weeks.

Most patients return to normal activity within 24 to 48 hours. Expect swelling, tenderness, and possible bruising for several days, so the final contour is best judged a few weeks out. You will get activity guidance specific to the area treated, particularly for gluteal and hip treatment where pressure should be limited early on.

Benefits

of alloClae

alloClae offers a non-surgical way to restore soft, natural volume where the body is missing it. This in-office treatment offers benefits such as:

Natural Human Tissue

Made from donated human fat, not silicone, saline, or a synthetic gel, so it feels like the body’s own soft tissue.

No Surgery or Liposuction

alloClae arrives ready to use, so there is no fat harvesting and no operating room.

Immediate Visible Results

The volume is placed during the appointment, so the change is visible the same day.

Minimal Downtime

Most patients return to normal activity within 24 to 48 hours.

An Option for Lean Patients

alloClae does not depend on your own fat stores, so patients too lean for fat transfer may qualify.

Quick In-Office Treatment

Most patients are treated in under an hour.

Is alloClae Right for You?

alloClae suits localized volume concerns in patients who want real improvement without an operation. It is not a substitute for surgery when the anatomy calls for it.

Who Benefits Most from alloClae?

You may be a strong candidate if you are in good general health and one or more of the following applies:

  • Visible implant rippling or small asymmetry after breast augmentation
  • Upper pole or cleavage refinement without changing implants
  • Hip dips or a gluteal contour you want softened rather than enlarged
  • A dent or irregularity following liposuction
  • You are too lean for traditional fat transfer
  • You need a treatment that fits into a normal work week

alloClae is not appropriate for patients with severe allergen sensitivities, a history of anaphylaxis, or an active infection. Results and the volume needed vary from patient to patient, and there is no reliable answer until someone examines the area.

What to Expect During Your Consultation at J. Sweat Plastic Surgery

J. Sweat Plastic Surgery will ask what bothers you and what you have already tried, examine the area, assess your tissue quality and existing volume, and review your history.

From there, you get a straight recommendation. Sometimes that is alloClae. Sometimes it is surgery, because the problem is structural and adding volume will not fix it. Sometimes it is nothing at all. Because J. Sweat Plastic Surgery performs the surgical alternatives in-house, there is no reason to steer you toward one over the other. If alloClae is right, you will review units, expected results, risks, aftercare, and cost before scheduling, and many patients can be treated the same day.

alloClae FAQs

How Long Do Results Last?

Because alloClae is made of naturally occurring fat tissue, results can be long-lasting. How long they last varies with your body, the area treated, and your lifestyle, including significant weight changes. That differs from a hyaluronic acid filler, which the body metabolizes on a predictable schedule. J. Sweat Plastic Surgery will give you a realistic expectation for your treatment area rather than a blanket number.

Is alloClae Safe?

alloClae is marketed and sold as a Human Cell and Tissue Product, and donor tissue meets FDA requirements for HCT/Ps, including screening and extensive testing for transmissible disease.

No procedure is risk-free. Potential complications include cyst or nodule formation, pain, infection, hematoma, allergic or immune response, and skin discoloration at the site. Having the treatment performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon who knows the anatomy of the area is the most meaningful safety decision you can make.

How Is alloClae Different from Fillers or Fat Grafting?

Fillers are engineered gels, most commonly hyaluronic acid, designed for the face and absorbed by the body over a set period.

Fat grafting uses your own fat, which means liposuction to harvest it, a surgical setting, and recovery. A percentage of transferred fat also does not survive, which is why those results settle over several months.

alloClae sits between the two: natural adipose tissue like a fat graft, delivered in the office like an injectable, with immediate results and no harvesting. J. Sweat Plastic Surgery performs natural fat transfer as well and will explain which approach suits your anatomy.
